From paper to graph paper to acetate plastic .
Over lay graph with wire model and compare proportions. Follow though with clay model before starting computer "maya" modeling.
Start with wire frame cover with kitchen foil add the clay slowly to the frame till your model is complete.
Use clay modeling tools.
